Milo misses the school trip because the slip was buried in the fourth school email of the week. Part one of The Always-On Assistant. Milo is the only one who misses the school trip: the permission slip was in a school email, the fourth one that week, under the bake sale. Tess's kit is in the wash on kit day, and Nana can't remember whether ten o'clock was her appointment or the bins. Robin has the skill to sort it all out. What he hasn't got is the hours: he's the family's calendar, alarm clock and memory, and he's in meetings till six. Family organisation runs on a pile of little jobs, and there's only one of him. Maya says he needs a personal assistant. Uncle Darren says he needs an AI agent, running at home, round the clock. The Always-On Assistant is a short animated saga from ElfHosted about one family's AI agent: from an overflowing family inbox to an agent on a little computer in the study, and on to an assistant that runs itself. Each part stands on its own; watch them in order in the playlist on our channel. When the family moves to ElfHosted, Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, is Robin's sidekick: tuned on our apps and the way we run them, he safely reads your actual logs and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it. When Sam can't help, the ElfHosted team is on Discord around the clock, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server.
