<description>PinePods is your own podcast server: always on, with your place and queue in sync, and phone apps that connect from anywhere. Hosted PinePods on ElfHosted is always on, so every show is up to date and waiting whenever you are, and saved episodes can go to your own cloud storage if you like. We run it for you, keep it updated, and put it beside your other ElfHosted apps on one dashboard. PinePods has its own phone apps, and Android podcast apps like AntennaPod sync with it too (gpodder sync), connecting straight to your own address from anywhere with subscriptions and play state lined up. What is PinePods? An open-source podcast server and player from the PinePods project that keeps your subscriptions, episodes and listening history in one place. Search the built-in directory or paste an RSS feed, and each show updates itself whenever it publishes. It remembers where you paused and keeps your queue in step between the browser and the PinePods phone app. Everyone in the household gets their own login, with their own subscriptions and history. It has its own login rather than ElfHosted single sign-on, so the phone apps can reach it: change the starting password first, as the docs explain. PinePods is new to ElfHosted and in early access. It's backed up daily, and you can restore it yourself whenever you need to. If something goes wrong, Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, checks your actual apps, tells you what's wrong, and asks before fixing it. Start with a 7-day trial. PinePods is open source; ElfHosted is not affiliated with the PinePods project. When Sam can't help, the ElfHosted team is on Discord around the clock, across time zones, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server. It's one place for support for every app you run with us, handled by professionals, instead of a GitHub issue, docs that may be out of date, or yet another Discord per project. Unlike a generic chatbot, which guesses and overcomplicates, Sam is tuned on these apps and the way we run them: he safely reads your actual logs and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it.
