No address to type, no home server. Tofa on ElfHosted is a second media server for your stack: it runs in our data centre next to your Plex, Jellyfin or Emby, reads the same library, and needs nothing moved. Claim it from the Tofa tile on your ElfHosted dashboard. Tofa has its own apps for the telly, phone, tablet, computer and web; everyone signs in with a free Tofa account, and on a telly you link the app from your phone instead of typing a server address. What is Tofa? A media server for your own films and shows, with a profile for everyone: up to six per account, each with its own Continue Watching and watchlist. Kids' profiles only show the ratings you allow, in every app, and a PIN keeps a profile to its owner. Invite family by email and pick which libraries each person sees. Its own secure address plays at full quality from anywhere, with no router settings or open ports at home. Tofa plays your files as they are, with no conversion: if a device can't play a file directly, pick Original quality, or use the desktop player or a TV app. A media server is for your own media: home videos, things you own and have backed up, public domain and Creative Commons recordings. ElfHosted hosts applications; we don't provide content. Tofa is a standalone add-on for an ElfHosted Personal Media Stack, with a 7-day trial. It's an Early Preview, run with its developers' permission. We keep it updated and back it up daily, and you can restore it yourself whenever you need to. If something goes wrong, Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, checks your actual apps and asks before it fixes a thing, and the ElfHosted team is on Discord around the clock, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server. Tofa is made by the Tofa team (tofa.tv); ElfHosted is not affiliated with Tofa.
