<description>Floppy is a media tracker and diary for shows, films, anime, books, games and podcasts. Hosted with ElfHosted, it's backed up every day. With hosted Floppy on ElfHosted, your family's diary doesn't live on a box in the cupboard. We keep it running and updated, back it up every day, and you can restore it yourself whenever you need to. Your first account runs the instance and is the only one that can add people, so each family member signs in to their own diary with the login you gave them. Lookups for films and TV are set up for you, so there's nothing to configure before you start. What is Floppy? An open-source media tracker and personal media diary for what you watch, read, play and listen to: films, TV down to the episode, anime, manga, books, comics, games, board games, music and podcasts. It shows where you're up to and what's next, keeps one history, makes recap-style stats, and its calendar shows what's coming out for the things you follow. It imports your history from Trakt, Simkl, MyAnimeList, AniList, Goodreads, StoryGraph, Steam and more, so it works as a reading tracker and a Trakt alternative in one, and your media server (Jellyfin, Plex or Emby) can log what you play. Floppy began as a fork of Yamtrack and is a brilliant tool from its developer, built for people who like their history in one place; ElfHosted is not affiliated with the Floppy project. Floppy is part of the ElfHosted Flex collection: a Flex plan runs several apps from the collection at once, and you swap which ones whenever you like. Every Flex plan starts with a 7-day trial. If something goes wrong, Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, checks your actual apps, tells you what's wrong, and asks before fixing it. Unlike a generic chatbot, which guesses and overcomplicates, Sam is tuned on these apps and the way we run them: he safely reads your actual logs and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it. If you'd rather ask a person, our team is on Discord around the clock, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server: one place for support for every app you run with us.
