<description>Koito is a music scrobbler that turns every track you play into listening stats and charts. Hosted on ElfHosted, your phone reaches it from anywhere. With hosted Koito on ElfHosted, your phone scrobbles to a secure address we keep up around the clock, certificate and all, so there's no missing month in your charts. Your charts, history and API key sit behind your ElfHosted login; only the scrobble address is open, because a phone can't sign in through a browser, and it accepts nothing without your key. Run Navidrome with us too, and it scrobbles straight to Koito, which can pull album art from your own library. We keep it running and updated, it's backed up daily, and you can restore it yourself whenever you need to. What is Koito? A modern, themeable music scrobbler from the Koito project that records every track you play and turns it into listening stats: top artists, top albums, hours listened and a history you can scroll back through. It speaks the ListenBrainz API, so Navidrome, most phone players and desktop bridges can scrobble to it, and it imports your old history from Spotify, Last.fm, ListenBrainz and Maloja. It can also pass each scrobble on to Last.fm or ListenBrainz, so you can try it alongside the scrobbler you already use. Koito is still moving fast upstream; if you'd rather have the older, steadier option, Maloja is on ElfHosted too, and each imports from the other. Start with a 7-day trial. If something goes wrong, Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, checks your actual apps, tells you what's wrong, and asks before fixing it. Unlike a generic chatbot, which guesses and overcomplicates, Sam is tuned on these apps and the way we run them: he safely reads your actual logs and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it. If you'd rather ask a person, our team is on Discord around the clock, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server. It's one place for support for every app you run with us, handled by professionals, instead of a GitHub issue, docs that may be out of date, or yet another Discord per project. Koito is open source; ElfHosted is not affiliated with the Koito project. Bring your own music: we host the software, you supply the library.
