<description>Jellyfin Accounts (jfa-go) sends invite links for your Jellyfin server: people pick and reset their own passwords. Hosted on ElfHosted. Run Jellyfin Accounts with ElfHosted and its invite links come from its own secure address, so they work wherever your family is, and nobody waits for you to get home. We keep it running and updated. Run Jellyfin with us? Jellyfin Accounts comes with every Jellyfin Personal Media Stack and talks to your Jellyfin right inside your stack. Running Jellyfin somewhere else? Hosted jfa-go runs on its own too, pointed at your server, as long as we can reach it. What is Jellyfin Accounts? jfa-go, by hrfee, is open-source Jellyfin user management: send an invite link, and the person picks their own password and lands in your library with the permissions you set. Invites can expire or be limited to a number of uses, accounts can expire, and people can reset their own passwords (password-reset messages need your own email or chat settings). It's a tidy way to stop being the family password desk. Jellyfin Accounts on its own starts with a 7-day trial; it's already included in every Jellyfin Personal Media Stack, so stack owners don't need it separately. It's backed up daily, and you can restore it yourself whenever you need to. If something goes wrong, Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, checks your actual apps, tells you what's wrong, and asks before fixing it. Unlike a generic chatbot, which guesses and overcomplicates, Sam is tuned on these apps and the way we run them: he safely reads your actual logs and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it. When you'd rather talk to a person, the ElfHosted team is on Discord around the clock, across time zones, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server. It's one place for support for every app you run with us, handled by professionals, instead of a GitHub issue, docs that may be out of date, or yet another Discord per project. jfa-go is open source; ElfHosted is not affiliated with the jfa-go project.
