Part one of The Paper Mountain. The dishwasher dies mid-cycle, and Robin knows it's under warranty: the paperwork's in the drawer. The drawer holds three hundred receipts, four spare keys, a receipt for the kettle, a parking ticket, and a forty dollar gift card that ran out last Tuesday. That's household paperwork for most families. Then the car's orange light comes back and the service book is somewhere in the glovebox, and Milo and Tess can't agree whose turn the bins are. Warranties, all the family's stuff, the car, the vouchers and the chores: a paper mountain, kept in Robin's head. Uncle Darren has the answer, five apps (a warranty tracker, a home inventory, a car maintenance log, a gift card wallet and a chore chart), and he runs all five on his rack. Robin knows the fix. He just needs a free weekend. The Paper Mountain is a short animated saga from ElfHosted about one family's household admin: from the kitchen drawer, to five apps on a computer in the garage, and on to the same apps run by the elves. Each part stands on its own; watch them in order in the playlist on our channel. When the family moves to ElfHosted, Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, is Robin's sidekick: tuned on our apps and the way we run them, he safely reads your actual logs and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it. When Sam can't help, the ElfHosted team is on Discord around the clock, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server.
