<description>PlexTraktSync keeps Plex and Trakt in step: watched status, ratings and watchlists, with plays marked on Trakt as you watch. Hosted beside your Plex. Run PlexTraktSync with ElfHosted and it sits beside your ElfHosted Plex around the clock, listening for plays, so whatever you finish is marked on Trakt as it happens, with no laptop to keep awake. You set it up once in a web terminal at its own address, behind your ElfHosted login, and it talks to your Plex inside your stack. We keep it updated, it's backed up daily, and you can restore it yourself whenever you need to. The hosted watcher is for a Plex you run on ElfHosted. What is PlexTraktSync? An open-source tool from the PlexTraktSync project that keeps your Plex server and your Trakt account in step: watched status, ratings and watchlists, plus your Plex collection on Trakt. Its watcher, a Plex Trakt scrobbler, marks plays on Trakt as you watch, and a full sync, run from the web terminal, catches up your history and lists. None of it needs a Plex Pass or Trakt VIP. Start with a 7-day trial. Stuck? Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, checks your actual apps, tells you what's wrong, and asks before fixing it. Unlike a generic chatbot, which guesses and overcomplicates, Sam is tuned on these apps and the way we run them: he safely reads your actual logs and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it. And when you'd rather talk to a person, our team is on Discord around the clock, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server. It's one place for support for every app you run with us, handled by professionals, instead of a GitHub issue, docs that may be out of date, or yet another Discord per project. PlexTraktSync is open source; ElfHosted is not affiliated with the PlexTraktSync project.
