<description>ntfy (said "notify") sends push notifications to your phone from any script or app. Hosted on ElfHosted, it stays online, so alerts reach you anywhere. With ntfy hosting from ElfHosted, your notification server lives online, not on a box at home, so the ping reaches your phone wherever you are, even when the computer it's watching has died. We run it for you, keep it updated, and your users and topic rules carry through restarts and upgrades. It starts locked down, deny-all, and you choose who can read or publish to each topic. ntfy itself is the work of the ntfy project. What is ntfy? A notification server for all the other things you run. Post a message to a topic with a plain HTTP request, even a one-line curl command, and every device subscribed to that topic gets push notifications straight away, with titles, priorities, tags, attachments and action buttons. Point your backup scripts, cron jobs, uptime checks and home automations at it: most tools with webhook or Apprise support can target ntfy directly, and the official Android and iPhone apps connect to your own instance. If you know Gotify, it's the same idea, with an official iPhone app. Hosted ntfy is new to ElfHosted and in early access. It's part of the ElfHosted Flex collection: a Flex plan runs several apps from the collection at once, and you swap which ones whenever you like. Every Flex plan starts with a 7-day trial. It's backed up daily, and you can restore it yourself whenever you need to. If something's not right, Sam checks your apps, tells you what's wrong, and asks before fixing it. ntfy is open source; ElfHosted is not affiliated with the ntfy project. You can support the ntfy developer through the link below. If you'd rather talk to a person, the ElfHosted team is on Discord around the clock, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server. It's one place for support for every app you run with us, handled by professionals, instead of a GitHub issue, docs that may be out of date, or yet another Discord per project. Unlike a generic chatbot, which guesses and overcomplicates, Sam is tuned on these apps and the way we run them: he safely reads your actual logs and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it.
