The admin password you choose stays chosen: our image sets the starting password once, on the very first start, and leaves it alone after that. Your charts, admin pages and export button sit behind your ElfHosted login; only the scrobble addresses are open, because a phone can't sign in through a browser, and they accept nothing without your API key. Run Navidrome with us too, and it scrobbles straight to Maloja once you paste in your key. We keep it running and updated, it's backed up daily, and you can restore it yourself whenever you need to. What is Maloja? A scrobble database from the Maloja project: it records every track you play and turns it into charts, weekly, monthly and yearly, per artist, album and track. It accepts four scrobble dialects, so Navidrome, phone players, browser extensions and desktop bridges all work, and its rules tidy up artists that appear under three spellings or featured artists jammed into one tag, retroactively. It imports from Last.fm, Spotify, ListenBrainz and other Maloja instances, and one button exports the whole database as a file, so it's a Last.fm alternative you keep. Want a newer look?
