Part four, the finale of The Paper Mountain. Robin puts in the dishwasher warranty claim from the sideline of Milo's match: the receipt Maya photographed is in Warracker at its own secure address, and it opens on his phone. The repair's booked for Thursday. Tess spends the gift card before it runs out because VoucherVault reminded her, the car's service is booked off LubeLogger's reminder, and the Donetick chore rota has settled the bins. Household admin, with nothing left in the drawer. Then Milo deletes every chore in Donetick. Robin asks Sam from the sideline: Sam shows the backups he can see and asks first, Robin taps Approve, and the chores are back as they were last night, bins and all. Every app on ElfHosted is backed up daily, and you can restore a backup yourself from your dashboard, or ask Sam. A restore puts the whole app back to the date you pick, so whatever was added since then is gone. Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, is Robin's sidekick: tuned on our apps and the way we run them, he safely reads your actual logs and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it. When Sam can't help, the ElfHosted team is on Discord around the clock, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server. Warracker, HomeBox, LubeLogger, VoucherVault and Donetick are all part of the ElfHosted Flex collection: a Flex plan runs several apps from the collection at once, and you swap which ones whenever you like; the bigger Flex plans run more at the same time. Every Flex plan starts with a 7-day trial. These apps are open source; ElfHosted is not affiliated with any of these projects, and you can support their developers through the links below. For the full tour of each app, watch our explainers. The Paper Mountain is a short animated saga from ElfHosted about one family's household admin: from the kitchen drawer, to five apps on a computer in the garage, and on to the same apps run by the elves. Each part stands on its own; watch them in order in the playlist on our channel.
