<description>Kan is a Kanban board app for home projects and small teams. Hosted Kan stays private behind your ElfHosted login, on any phone. Run Kan with ElfHosted, and the board is there whenever someone needs it: we keep it running and updated, run its database for you, and add it to your backups every day, so you can restore it yourself whenever you need to. Hosted Kan sits behind your ElfHosted login, so your boards stay private, and it works in any phone's browser. Invites and account emails go out from an ElfHosted address, with no mail server to set up. If something goes wrong, Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, checks your actual apps, tells you what's wrong, and asks before fixing it. Need a human instead? The ElfHosted team is on Discord around the clock, wherever you are, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server. It's one place for support for every app you run with us, handled by professionals, instead of a GitHub issue, docs that may be out of date, or yet another Discord per project. Unlike a generic chatbot, which guesses and overcomplicates, Sam is tuned on these apps and the way we run them: he safely reads your actual logs and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it. What is Kan? An open-source Kanban board app from the Kan project: lists across the screen, cards you drag between them, and on each card a description, labels, comments and the people on it. Every card keeps an activity log of who moved what, filters cut a busy board down to your part, and templates stamp out a project board you run again and again. It suits a loft conversion or a house move, and coming from Trello, you can import your boards. Kan is new to ElfHosted and in early access. It's part of the ElfHosted Flex collection: a Flex plan runs several apps from the collection at once, and you swap which ones whenever you like. Every Flex plan starts with a 7-day trial. Kan is open source; ElfHosted is not affiliated with the Kan project. You can support Kan through the link below.
