<description>Mellon is ElfHosted's own sync backend for the Nuvio apps: your profiles, watch history and addons live on your own instance. Mellon is ElfHosted's own sync backend for the Nuvio apps. The apps keep your profiles, library, watch progress and addon list on a sync server, so every phone, tablet and telly you sign in from sees the same thing. With Mellon, that sync server is your own instance: sign your apps into it and the account is yours, and nothing about what you watch, or which addons you use, leaves your own deployment. It's watch history privacy without a server in the cupboard. Manage profiles, addons and every signed-in device from your browser, and sign out any device you don't recognise. We keep it running, updated and backed up daily, with restores you can do yourself, and the admin page that opens and closes sign-ups sits behind your ElfHosted login. Already using Nuvio? One page moves your profiles, addons, library, collections and watch progress across, and your Stremio addons can come over from a checklist. Mellon speaks the protocol the Nuvio apps already use, so nothing needs patching: the desktop, Android TV and full Android and iOS builds from the Nuvio project can point at your own server; the Play Store and App Store builds can't. Mellon stores your profiles, library, progress and addon list; it isn't a player, and the playing is done by your apps and the addons you install. Mellon is new and in early access. Start with a 7-day trial. Stuck? Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, is tuned on these apps and the way we run them: he safely reads your actual logs, tells you what's wrong and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it. Unlike a generic chatbot, he doesn't guess. And the ElfHosted team is on Discord around the clock, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server: one place for support for every app you run with us, instead of a GitHub issue, docs that may be out of date, or yet another Discord per project. Mellon is ElfHosted's own backend; we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nuvio Media. ElfHosted hosts applications; we don't provide content.
