Part five, the finale of The Photo Exodus. It's Nana's birthday, and Grandad is on the big telly: the pier, the summer they met, and the terrible jumper. Immich face search, Immich's own feature, finds him across the whole family photo library: the shoebox scans, the wedding album and the family's phones. Robin is at the party with a second slice of cake. When the slideshow stalls, he asks Sam from his chair. Sam reads the logs and asks first; Robin taps Approve, Immich restarts, and the party carries on. Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, is tuned on our apps and the way we run them: he safely reads your actual logs, proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it. When Sam can't help, the ElfHosted team is on Discord around the clock, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server. With hosted Immich, you bring your own storage and connect it; Immich is kept running and upgraded, and backed up daily with restores you can do yourself. Start with a 7-day trial. Immich is open source, the work of the Immich team; ElfHosted is not affiliated with the project. You can support Immich by buying it from the Immich team through the link below. The Photo Exodus is a short animated saga from ElfHosted about one family's photos: from full phones and scattered clouds to a NAS at home, and on to a photo library that runs itself. Each part stands on its own; watch them in order in the playlist on our channel.
