<description>Calibre-Web is an ebook library in your browser for the books you own: drop them in, and they're added, converted and ready on every e-reader. Hosted Calibre-Web on ElfHosted watches the ingest folder around the clock on our servers, so there's no computer at home left switched on. It has its own secure address, so every e-reader in the family reaches it from anywhere, with no port-forwarding. We run it for you, keep it updated, and put your ElfHosted login in front of the page. What is Calibre-Web? An ebook library in your browser: browse, read and manage your books with no Calibre desktop app to install. ElfHosted runs Calibre-Web Automated, the Calibre-Web-Automated project's fork that adds automatic imports and conversions: drop new books into the ingest folder, or switch on uploads, and they're added to the library on their own, converted as they arrive if you ask it to. Send a book to a Kindle by email, or browse the library from a Kobo over OPDS. Everyone gets their own login, access and reading progress. It's an ebook server, and it doesn't include any books: bring your own. It's backed up daily, and you can restore it yourself whenever you need to. If something goes wrong, Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, checks your actual apps, tells you what's wrong, and asks before fixing it. And when you'd rather talk to a person, the ElfHosted team is on Discord around the clock, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server. Try it for seven days. Calibre-Web and Calibre-Web Automated are open source; ElfHosted is not affiliated with either project. You can support the Calibre-Web Automated developer through the link below. It's one place for support for every app you run with us, handled by professionals, instead of a GitHub issue, docs that may be out of date, or yet another Discord per project. Unlike a generic chatbot, which guesses and overcomplicates, Sam is tuned on these apps and the way we run them: he safely reads your actual logs and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it.
