<description>Hermes Agent for families, the finale: the morning brief lands at seven, nobody forgets a thing, and Robin is in the front row. Part five, the finale of The Always-On Assistant. Monday morning, and Robin is in the front row of Milo's assembly instead of on his phone. The morning brief landed in the family chat at seven: kit tomorrow, bins on Wednesday, and ring Nana about Thursday. Tess's kit was packed the night before, and Nana was twenty minutes early. Overnight, hosted Hermes Agent had an update; its memory and skills came through untouched, and Robin slept through it. The little computer in the study just runs the Hermes desktop app now, pointed at his always-on AI agent, with nothing to keep alive at home. Robin told it once, it remembered, and he isn't the family's memory any more. That's an AI assistant for families: a personal AI assistant that runs around the clock, behind your ElfHosted login, with the AI included on an allowance that suits everyday use. Hermes is kept updated and backed up daily, with restores you can do yourself. Hermes Agent is open source, from Nous Research; ElfHosted is not affiliated with Nous Research. Start with a 7-day trial. When the family moves to ElfHosted, Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, is Robin's sidekick: tuned on our apps and the way we run them, he safely reads your actual logs and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it. When Sam can't help, the ElfHosted team is on Discord around the clock, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server. The Always-On Assistant is a short animated saga from ElfHosted about one family's AI agent: from an overflowing family inbox to an agent on a little computer in the study, and on to an assistant that runs itself. Each part stands on its own; watch them in order in the playlist on our channel.
