<description>MicroBin is a paste bin for text, files and short links, with QR codes. Hosted on ElfHosted, only you upload, and anyone with the link opens it. Run MicroBin with ElfHosted, and it lives on an address of its own, kept running, so the link still works when it's clicked. The upload page, your list, editing and removing stay behind your ElfHosted login, so only you create uploads and nobody you send a link to can delete one, while the people you share with just open the link, with no account. MicroBin itself is the work of the MicroBin project. What is MicroBin? A small paste bin with a URL shortener built in. Paste text, drop in files, or shorten a link, and every upload gets an easy address made of animal names and a QR code. Lock one with a password, or set it to expire. Treat a paste link as public, and use a password or a short expiry for a paste you wouldn't want passed on. Hosted MicroBin sits on your ElfHosted dashboard, and we keep it updated. It's new on ElfHosted, in early access. MicroBin is part of the ElfHosted Flex collection: a Flex plan runs several apps from the collection at once, and you swap which ones whenever you like. Every Flex plan starts with a 7-day trial. It's backed up daily, and you can restore it yourself whenever you need to. If something's not right, Sam checks your apps, tells you what's wrong, and asks before fixing it. MicroBin is open source; ElfHosted is not affiliated with the project. You can support MicroBin's developer through the link below. If Sam can't sort it, real people from our team answer on Discord around the clock, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server. It's one place for support for every app you run with us, handled by professionals, instead of a GitHub issue, docs that may be out of date, or yet another Discord per project. Unlike a generic chatbot, which guesses and overcomplicates, Sam is tuned on these apps and the way we run them: he safely reads your actual logs and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it.
