Part one of What's for Dinner? Milo asks what's for dinner for the fifth time before lunch. The family recipes live in a cookbook, a pile of browser tabs and Nana's handwritten recipe cards, and her lasagne card is so faded she cooks it from memory. Tess wants to learn it, but the card just says 'cheese, plenty'. Then Robin is at the shop with pasta, more pasta and no list, because the family shopping list is on Maya's phone, at home. Robin knows the fix: one recipe app for the family, with meal planning and a shared shopping list on every phone. He just needs a free weekend. Uncle Darren has loads of those. What's for Dinner? is a short animated saga from ElfHosted about one family's recipes: from Nana's fading recipe cards and a shopping list on the wrong phone, to a recipe app on the laptop in the hall cupboard, and on to a family cookbook the elves run. Each part stands on its own; watch them in order in the playlist on our channel. When the family moves to ElfHosted, Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, is Robin's sidekick: tuned on our apps and the way we run them, he safely reads your actual logs and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it. When Sam can't help, the ElfHosted team is on Discord around the clock, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server.
