<description>Vikunja is a to-do list app that grows with the job. Hosted Vikunja stays private behind your login, and the reminders arrive with nothing to set up. Run Vikunja with ElfHosted, and the reminders actually arrive: they come by email from an ElfHosted address, so there's no mail server for you to set up. We keep it running and updated and back up your lists every day, and you can restore them yourself whenever you need to. Your lists sit behind your ElfHosted login, so they stay private, and they open in any phone's browser wherever you are. CalDAV sync puts the same tasks in your phone's own task app or your calendar. If something goes wrong, Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, checks your actual apps, tells you what's wrong, and asks before fixing it. Unlike a generic chatbot, which guesses and overcomplicates, Sam is tuned on these apps and the way we run them: he safely reads your actual logs and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it. What is Vikunja? An open-source to-do list app from the Vikunja project. Start with a plain list for the bins and the shopping, then open the same project as a Kanban board, a Gantt chart or a table when it grows. Every view shows the same tasks, and tasks carry due dates, reminders, labels and repeats, so it covers the chore list, the weekly shop and the house move alike. Hosted Vikunja is part of the ElfHosted Flex collection: a Flex plan runs several apps from the collection at once, and you swap which ones whenever you like. Every Flex plan starts with a 7-day trial. Vikunja is open source; ElfHosted is not affiliated with the Vikunja project. You can support Vikunja's developer through the link below. When Sam can't help, our team is on Discord around the clock, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server. It's one place for support for every app you run with us, handled by professionals, instead of a GitHub issue, docs that may be out of date, or yet another Discord per project.
