https://video.elfhosted.com/videos/watch/2d0c99f6-1e76-4fd6-9bf9-3319defa357b Kavita is a reading server for the ebooks, comics and manga you own. Hosted on ElfHosted, your phone reaches it from anywhere. Hosted Kavita on ElfHosted has its own secure address, so your phone reaches it from anywhere, with no port-forwarding: read at breakfast and carry on from the bus, with your place and bookmarks kept. We run it for you, keep it updated, and put your ElfHosted login in front of the web reader. Prefer a phone reading app? Many OPDS reading apps can connect to Kavita, and some can keep books for offline reading. What is Kavita? An open-source reading server from the Kavita project for a mixed library: ebooks, comics, manga and webtoons. Add the files you own and it sorts them into series, volumes and reading lists. It opens EPUB, PDF and comic archive files in a reader that works in any browser, so it is an ebook reader and a comic and manga reader in one place. Everyone in the household gets their own login and their own libraries, so sharing a shelf never means sharing your reading history. It's backed up daily, and you can restore it yourself whenever you need to. If something goes wrong, Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, checks your actual apps, tells you what's wrong, and asks before fixing it. You bring the books; Kavita includes none. Start with a 7-day trial. Kavita is open source; ElfHosted is not affiliated with the Kavita project. You can support Kavita through the link below. If you'd rather ask a person, the ElfHosted team is on Discord around the clock, and the server is family-friendly and carefully moderated. It's one place for support for every app you run with us, handled by professionals, instead of a GitHub issue, docs that may be out of date, or yet another Discord per project. Unlike a generic chatbot, which guesses and overcomplicates, Sam is tuned on these apps and the way we run them: he safely reads your actual logs and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it.
