<description>AudioBookRequest is a request page for audiobooks: the family searches, asks, and you approve. Hosted on ElfHosted beside your Prowlarr. With hosted AudioBookRequest on ElfHosted, there's no port to open at home and no home address to keep track of. It runs with us, beside your ElfHosted Prowlarr on our internal network, and we keep it running and updated for you. It sits behind your ElfHosted login by default. Want family members to ask from their own phones? The AudioBookRequest [Exposed!] add-on swaps the ElfHosted login for AudioBookRequest's own accounts, so each person signs in with an account you create for them (set strong passwords, and keep open registration switched off). What is AudioBookRequest? A request page for audiobook requests, in the same spirit as the request apps people use for their media servers. Your household searches by title, author or narrator, sees the covers, and asks; you approve on your phone, wherever you are. Approved requests go to your Prowlarr, using the providers and settings you set up yourself. It pairs with Audiobookshelf, where your audiobooks play; see the docs for where finished files land today. Start with a 7-day trial. It's backed up daily, and you can restore it yourself whenever you need to. Stuck? Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, checks your actual apps, tells you what's wrong, and asks before fixing it. Unlike a generic chatbot, which guesses and overcomplicates, Sam is tuned on these apps and the way we run them: he safely reads your actual logs and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it. If you'd rather ask a person, the ElfHosted team is on Discord around the clock, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server: one place for support for every app you run with us, instead of a GitHub issue, docs that may be out of date, or yet another Discord per project. ElfHosted hosts applications; we don't provide content: bring your own accounts and use them lawfully. AudioBookRequest is open source, the work of its own developer; ElfHosted is not affiliated with the project.
