Terraria server hosting from ElfHosted, built for families: the world keeps running day and night, backed up daily with restores you can do yourself, with no PC left on at home and nothing opened on your home network. The server runs TShock, from the TShock project, and every server comes with a private parent panel that ElfHosted built, by parents who run one at home. If something goes wrong, Sam, ElfHosted's AI helper, checks your actual apps, tells you what's wrong, and asks before fixing it. Unlike a generic chatbot, which guesses and overcomplicates, Sam is tuned on these apps and the way we run them: he safely reads your actual logs and proposes a fix, and nothing changes until you approve it. What is Terraria for Families? A family Terraria server with parental controls, and only you can open the panel. See who's on now and how long each player has played today and this week. Set a bedtime with later hours on Friday and Saturday: everyone is warned in the game ten minutes before and again at one minute, then the world closes. Give a late pass for one night and tomorrow's bedtime still happens, or press Close it now. Invite friends with a ready made message holding the address, port and password, and get a notification on your phone when someone joins. These parental controls never read chat. It's a dedicated server, so players join from the desktop edition of the game. Start with a 7-day trial. TShock is open source; ElfHosted is not affiliated with Re-Logic or the TShock project. When Sam can't help, our team is on Discord around the clock, in a family-friendly, carefully moderated server. It's one place for support for every app you run with us, handled by professionals, instead of a GitHub issue, docs that may be out of date, or yet another Discord per project.
